Is it smart to let my billing go out to another company?

We believe in doing things right the first time to eliminate errors. A Root Cause Analysis to identify global issues and address them improves cash flow. In essence, we make sure the claims are submitted with all the necessary information before submission. The higher the clean claim rate the less claims move into the AR. Thus improving cash flow for your practice and reducing Claims in the Accounts Receivable. Through Denial Management analysis and resolution we are able to correct the claims at the point of error and improve our protocols.

What is required in transitioning to RMHS?

We keep it very simple and we work the way our clients want us to. Once you signed the contract, we will send you a questionnaire for you to fill providing few details for us to start. We will not make you move to a new billing system which we understand is a tedious job. We will of course use the practice management system you want us to use. We also recommend some of the best systems available in market as we are experienced with more than 15 practice management systems and E H R applications.

Do you call our patients? Are you acollection agency?

We are not a collection agency; however we make a courtesy phone call to make sure the patients received the statement, answer any questions they might ask, etc. We will send you a weekly/ monthly report recommending a list of patients can be moved to collections which are over 90 days.

How quickly do you submit the claims to insurance?

We maintain a turn-around-time of 24 to 48 hours on claim submissions.

Why should I spend all that money on a billing service when I can do it cheaper in-house?

Our cost analysis on an average two to five doctor practice shows that our costs are comparable to the cost of staffing, office space, office operating expenses, storage, etc for an in-house computer system. In addition, we estimate we can improve collections between 2% to 10% at the average practice.

Can we use our existing Practice management system or do we have to migrate to a specific one for RM?

We will use the practice management system that you already have in place, this reduces a lot of time in terms of the transition and setup. However we do recommend some of the best systems available in market, as we are experienced in working on several practice management platforms and EHR applications
